A Canadian, bilingual advisory and learning firm, based in Ottawa.

We help organizations understand technology and put it to work.

Tutiv brings together emerging technology, learning and advisory, helping leaders across government, industry and public institutions build the capabilities to put new technology to work.

A team collaborating in a working session

Technology creates value only when people can apply it. We help organizations understand it, develop the capability to use it, and improve how the work gets done.

What we do

Understand it, build the skills, make it work.

Understanding what is next, developing the people to apply it, and improving how the work gets delivered. Each stands on its own. Together they close the gap between a new technology and the organization meant to adopt it.

Our approach

We understand both the technology and the places it has to work.

Most change stalls at the seam between a new capability and the institution meant to adopt it. That seam, where technology meets people, governance and delivery, is where we do our best work.

Where we work

Built for complex, high-stakes environments.

Primarily government and public institutions, enterprise and regulated industries, and defence and national security, with work that also spans higher education and international institutions.

Much of this is capability building in national priority areas: adopting AI responsibly, strengthening governance and AI sovereignty, and leading the adoption, change and transformation that national directions like Canada's AI strategy and Defence Industrial Strategy now call for.

Government and public institutions

Responsible AI adoption, governance and workforce readiness in the public interest, building capability where national priorities demand it.

Enterprise and regulated industries

Practical adoption of emerging technology in regulated, technology-intensive operations.

Defence and national security

Sovereign capability, readiness and technology adoption for defence and national security, aligned with Canada's Defence Industrial Strategy and the industrial base that supports it.

In practice

Tutiv helped us go from talking about AI to actually using it, with the governance and skills in place so it held. They stayed close to delivery, not just strategy.

Program director, federal public sector

Public-sector AI adoption

A federal program had run several AI pilots that never reached everyday operations. Tutiv led a readiness assessment, put lightweight governance in place, and built the team's capability to run and oversee the tools. Within two quarters, two use cases were in production with clear ownership, and adoption kept growing after the engagement ended.
